CGS participated in JIMTOF2012 (The 26th Japan International Machine Tool Fair) from Nov. 1 until Nov. 6, 2012

JIMTOF2012 (The 26th Japan International Machine Tool Fair) was held at Tokyo Big Sight (Tokyo International Exhibition Center) from November 1st until November 6th, 2012.

This year’s exhibition was held under the theme of “Mono-Zukuri” innovation (the fusion of craftsmanship and high-end technology). The total number of visitors amounted to 128,674 (8,344 from overseas) in 6 days, which exceeded that of last year’s exhibition by 12.3% (9.4% from overseas). All kinds of manufactures of producer goods with high-end technology, including machine tools, got together in a hall and the site continued to gather steam throughout the exhibition period.

The latest versions of our CAD/CAM products (CAM-TOOL, EXCESS-HYBRID, and CG series) were demonstrated at the booths of CGS, where we also provided our visitors with multi-compartment space for continuing business talk. We welcomed as many as 1,000 visitors or more at our booths in 6 days and ended the final day of exhibition with success.  We would like to thank all of the visitors for showing their interest in us.

At the booths of sample display, we exhibited a variety of cut samples under the theme of “the direct cutting processes of super-hard or difficult materials,” “the improvement of cutting processes,” “the research and development of new functions,” and “the 5-axis machining process” as well as those items processed with our tools, such as cutworks and molded pieces provided by our end users and manufactures of producer goods.  We believe that the display has attracted the attention of visitors and familiarized them with the latest trends in process technology.

As for the booths of our overseas partners, IGPNET (Korea) and CreateWell (ROC) helped keep the visitors from East Asia informed of our products.
